How to Join the Sunrise Swans:
Have you watched synchronized swimming and thought "how beautiful, and athletic, at the same time"? If you love to swim, and also love dance, music, cheer, or gymnastics, then you should consider joining a synchronized swim team!
The Sunrise Swans is a synchronized swim team in Citrus Heights, California. We are part of the Valley Foothill Competitive Aquatics League (VFCAL) and start our Spring Training the third week of April. Official Season begins the last week of April, where practices increase to three, or four days per week, depending on the swimmer's age and skill level, and lasts until mid-July with our Championship competition. All new swimmers will need to be able to swim one length of the pool (25 m) unassisted.
If you would like to join our Swans family, there are a few options: You could sign up for Spring Training and see if it's right for you, or plan on attending both Spring Training along with the 11-week regular competitive season. Either way, simply download and complete the Swimmer Registration form and mail in with your payment. For swimmers also registering for the regular season, please complete the Swimmer Information Forms and bring all completed forms and a checkbook with you to the first Spring Training practice on April 17th. Swimmers cannot participate without a completed registration form and fees paid.
Still not sure? Please look through our "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ) page, or contact us if you have any additional questions.
